How long are sessions?

My sessions for individuals are 50 minutes in length, but longer sessions are sometimes offered upon request. Sessions with couples and families are 60 minutes with longer sessions provided on request with a prorated charge.

Can we talk so I can see if we’re a good fit?

I do offer a 15-minute phone consultation to explore if we are a good fit to work together.

The success of therapeutic relationships lies with how comfortable you feel with your therapist. There’s no pressure to commit to any appointments upfront. This is also a time that helps me assess if I have the competence to support you. If we are not a good fit to work together, I may be able to provide referrals so you can have some options to explore.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Once you have been accepted as a client, appointments are scheduled directly with me either during our call or via text/email.

What if I can’t make my scheduled appointment?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please inform me via text or email at least 24+ hours before our session so that I may offer the space to another client on my wait list.  Late cancellations below the 24 hour limit will be charged our full fee.

How does payment work?

Payment is due at the time of service and will be made via Venmo, Check, Cash and an option of Credit card stored is offered with a processing fee.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider on all insurance panels except Kaiser. As a standard practice I provide a monthly or cumulative SuperBill for you to file your own claims. If you would like to know more about your claim reimbursements, please contact your insurance provider to determine coverage. Other options may include the usage of a flex spending account or a health savings account. It is your responsibility to verify coverage.

In compliance with Title 45, section 149.610 Code of Federal Regulations, I will provide a "Good Faith Estimate" of anticipated therapy costs to private pay clients at the start of treatment.

I offer both in person and virtual sessions. Virtual sessions are offered via a HIPAA-compliant Zoom platform.
